Rose Cafe - Saket

By The Wall Art Magazine Team   1 Sep, 2016

A pretty little café behind the Saket Metro Station that serves the best mint lemonade.

I heard about the Rose café from a friend who suggested it for a quick coffee. I loved the place, and subsequently went on to visit it a number of times. The owner, Sarita Ahuja, a hotel management graduate, always wanted to start a café but life got in the way – she was busy with her family life and her children. Finally, when she turned 50 she decided to follow her dream. She started it four years back and now her daughter, Tarini, and she both run the café together.

They wanted to create a cosy home like atmosphere at the café, which they have done splendidly. Primarily pale pink and pale blue in colour, the décor has pretty rose patterns on the crockery, tableware and other decoration items.  The menu is simple, featuring sandwiches, cakes, muffins, coffees, pastas, pizzas, various continental chicken and fish preparations, and also an all day breakfast. The prices are very reasonable and the portions sizable. They have been rated 4.1 on Zomato. I would say do visit it if you haven’t done so already.
