Sublime Revelations opened in New Delhi on
the 10th of May at the Visual Arts Gallery, India Habitat Centre. A show by Srishti
Rana Menon, it showcases abstract artwork made using acrylics, oils and
watercolours. She trained as a textile designer; the influence of her textile-based
practice can be seen in her artwork.
Srishti graduated from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad in 2002. She later went on to study for a masters at the Winchester School of Art in the UK. In addition to being granted a Charles Wallace India Trust Award by the British Council, Srishti was also awarded a residency at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Switzerland by Pro Helvetia.
